Dave, in Huntsville, AL, we are blessed to be able to invite our brothers and sisters (and their pets) to come in out of the cold. With support from other churches and individuals in our community, we invite our homeless who are unable to go to the local shelters to come and stay with us until the temps warm up and are no longer life threatening. We are truly blessed…last cold blast, we had 58 folks staying in our church. God is good!!
Wonderful work! Such work is the base of community involvement until we have a just society where shelter for our sisters and brothers is normal. Great to know you are in the midst of care!
