With sun and a wonderful backdrop of Toppenish ridge wandering towards the mountain, mainline valves went in today.  Just in time for water.

I noticed a week ago that the irrigation district began diverting water into the system at the Gap.  Water normally takes a while to make its way throughout the irrigation system.  Being located on the far end of the district, it normally takes the water a while to get here.  When it does, we will “jet” the mainline while we place the first water on the hay fields.
